We are delighted to announce the opening of our new branch office in Hawassa, colorfully launched today.
Since its establishment in 2002, the Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA) have been extending its services to its member farms engaged in the production and export of flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs, and vegetable seeds.
With an aim to further strengthen its support to horticulture companies nationwide, EHPEA has initiated the operation of satellite office in Sidama regional state. These offices will extend essential services and assistance to the growing horticulture sector in the respective regions.
At the launching workshop, support need assessment report of Hawassa cluster presented and discussed on the way forward to segment the focus area for EHPEA service delivery.
EHPEA TVET center will also be actively delivering training and compliance services to farmes in the region, in areas of Good Agricultural Practice, Workers Welfare, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environment Management, and Market Standards to its members and stakeholders within the value chain.
On the occasion responsible regional government offices, development partners and member farms were in attendance.
